Lee, I can't agree with you
more. When we saw 12Stones, we were a little quiet at first because we
weren't quite sure about what to expect. But if you know their songs and
dance a bit, have fun with it, they do notice you in the crowds and they
will tell you they do when you go to meet them. They are
some truly genuinely nice guys, so appreciative of any
support.
To those of you seeing them
in the future with Creed, especially watch Eric, the lead guitarist. He
is incredibly talented. His guitar solos are intricate and quite
impressive, but he is laid back and doesn't draw a lot of attention
to himself. You also have to remember that these guys are 20-22, Eric
being the oldest, and this is their first time touring. They were only
together for 7 months when they got a record deal, so to think that they
put such a solid sound together really makes me see how much
more potential they have. I recommend reading the interviews on their
web page about what the songs mean and what they are about and you'll find they
are a refreshingly positive band. Do a bit of research before the concert,
listen to the CD. It's one of my favorites, and that's not just
now, but for all time. The only critique I have is Paul does a lot of
screaming on the CD, and less of that wouldn't hurt my feelings.
